Need work experience To go with your education

Enroll in the CBIS Work Experience class and receive the experience for your résumé and earn college credit at the same time.

You can earn credit working:

  • in your place of business
  • in the CBIS computer labs
  • in the HelpDesk Software Support at LBCC*

The following hours are required

1 unit CBIS 71AD 75 hours 60 hours 3 to 5
2 units CBIS 72AD 150 hours 120 hours 8 to 10
3 units CBIS 73AD 225 hours 180 hours 12 to 15
Corequsite: CBIS 70 Work Issues 7196 at LAC & 7213 at PCC
Enrollment in at least seven (7) units including CBIS 70 and CBIS 71, 72 or 73.
*Some students can interview with the LBCC HelpDesk Software Support. If they are chosen they will experience working in a real help desk environment troubleshooting software and hardware problems for the staff at LBCC
